The Ann Arbor Police Department (AAPD) is investigating a Felonious Assault that took place at Glen Avenue and Catherine Street on November 7, 2024, around 3:25 p.m. According to the victim, he was riding his bicycle and was almost struck by a vehicle. He asserted he yelled at the driver who then caught up to him, threatened and pointed a handgun at him. The suspect then left the area, driving a white mid-size SUV toward Glen Street.

Preliminary investigations suggest this is an isolated incident, with no indication of an ongoing threat to the community. Details are still being confirmed. While similar, there is no information to suggest that the report is related to the incident earlier in the week at Main Street and Madison Street.
