Security Bulletin: Felonious Assault

The Ann Arbor Police Department (AAPD) is investigating a Felonious Assault that occurred during a traffic altercation on November 6, 2024, around 1:00 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Madison Street. The victim reported they were stopped at a flashing yellow light behind a vehicle that was not moving. They made an offensive hand gesture toward that driver, who then exited their vehicle, removed the victim from their seat, punched them in the face, and threatened them with what the victim believed was a handgun. The suspect was driving a silver sedan and fled southbound on Main Street. Preliminary investigations indicate that this is an isolated incident, with no indication of an ongoing threat to the community.
