Sept. 27, 2017 – We realize that recent incidents on and near campus have caused some members of our community to feel unsafe. The safety of our community is our top priority. Our DPSS police and security officers are here as a resource for you 24 hours a day. When crimes are reported, we always investigate each of the incidents. While sometimes investigations are not easily solved, we continue to look for new leads that can help identify perpetrators. In addition to pursuing criminal charges, we also work with our partners in the Office of Student Conflict Resolution who ensure that the Statement of Student Rights and Responsibilities is upheld.

We ask anyone with information about recent incidents to contact DPSS at 734-763-1131 or the University’s Anonymous Tip Line at 800-863-1355. Also if you see something occurring that is a crime or suspicious behavior, please call us right away so we can promptly respond.
