U-M Emergency Alert July 10: ALL CLEAR

On July 10, from 1:08 p.m. to 4:13 p.m., DPSS issued an emergency alert to the Ann Arbor campus due to safety hazards caused by a flood at the Palmer Parking Structure. The safety issues have been resolved, and this alert is no longer in effect.

Timeline of U-M Alerts

UPDATE 4:13 p.m. – Safety issues resolved. Areas around Palmer and Fletcher are now accessible. Updates: dpss.umich.edu

UPDATE 2:45 p.m.-  Safety concerns relative to flooding are still in effect. Continue to avoid the area while crews work to provide resolution.

UPDATE 1:30 p.m. – Safety hazard is a flooding issue, please avoid the area until further notice.

UM EAlert Ann Arbor: 1:08 p.m. – Safety Hazard Palmer Drive Parking Structure. Please avoid the area from the overhead bridge on Palmer Drive Parking Structure to the W side of Fletcher . We will readvise when the area is safe.
