Date of Incident: April 3, 2020, at approximately 8:20 p.m.

Location: Subway, 902 S. State St. near Packard (off campus)

Offense: Robbery

Summary: As reported to the Ann Arbor Police, as the victim was entering into a Subway restaurant, a subject grabbed him from behind, took his phone and fled. The victim followed the suspect out the door and yelled at him. The suspect then turned around, pulled out a knife and fled west toward Elbel Field. AAPD is investigating this incident.

Suspect: Black male, middle-aged with a receding hairline, 6’2″-6’4″, slim build. He was last seen wearing a surgical mask, camouflage sweatpants and a black t-shirt with a design on it.

  • Keep rooms and apartments locked at all times
  • Apartment-dwellers should turn on exterior lights at night
