The University of Michigan Division of Public Safety and Security (DPSS) is conducting a survey to better understand the most effective modes of communicating safety and security messages with students, faculty, staff and visitors.

The survey questions focus on modes of communication (social media, website, text, email) as well as types of safety and security information. The data collected will be used to shape the DPSS communications strategy.

The survey is short and should take no longer than five minutes to complete.

To show appreciation for your time, respondents will have the chance to win one of four $25 Amazon gift cards.* (The survey is anonymous. You do not have to provide your email address unless you want to be entered to win. DPSS will not contact you unless your name is randomly drawn to win a gift card).*

Please complete the survey before August 31, 2018.

DPSS thanks you in advance for your participation, and we look forward to learning how to better serve the University of Michigan community.

Please contact dpss-strat-comm@umich.edu if you have any questions or concerns.
