Security Bulletin: Off-Campus Shooting

An off campus shooting incident occurred at approximately 1:45 a.m. on May 3, 2024 in the 3300 block of Washtenaw Ave. Preliminary investigation revealed a 32-year-old male was driving when he was struck by gunfire. The victim self-transported to U of M Hospital. His injuries are non-life threatening.

The shooting is not believed to be random. Investigation is ongoing. Updates will be posted as they become available.
